MonkeyPants is Home

MonkeyPants is back from Mehico. I wonder if she's tanned? I wonder if her pool boy massaged her feet? I wonder...never mind.

Norway and Mehico

Poor little MonkeyPants. Remember how I told you that her work sent her to Norway a while back? Well, they just sent her recently again (she just got back this week,) and now, they are sending her to Mehico (you gotta say it like Peggy Hill. If you don't know who she is, never mind.) It might all sound very glamourous (Norway? maybe not...) but poor MonkeyPants doesn't really enjoy travelling.

I hope she'll have a little bit of fun in Mehico and she comes to see us at Christmas all tanned and full of vanilla (apparently, THAT'S what you have to buy there!?)

Good luck MonkeyPants! We'll miss you!

Stay tuned for the adventures of MonkeyPants!

Remind me, please!

I bought a bag of potatoes within the last 2 weeks. I usually put my potatoes in the refrigerator. However, somebody told me that they can go bad quickly if left too long in the cold so I put them in the cupboard.

Today, I rediscovered the potaotes for the first time since I bought them. Don't worry! All is well. They aren't rotten...yet...

Potatoes in the cupboard.
Potatoes in the cupboard.
Potatoes in the cupboard.

There. I hope that helps.

The weather...

Snow falling softly
Covering the ground all white
Lovely winter day

Watch out, Betty Crocker...I'm making a cake

The recipe is called "Hurry Up Cake". However, I really should have taken my time and measured the ingredients properly. It became necessary to double the recipe when I realized that I added too much milk...Oh well...

I had tentative plans to serve this cake to other people. I'm not feeling too confident about that anymore. It seemed like a great idea before I started baking. I'm trying to figure out how to cover up a little nibble to make sure it tastes OK before I wow people with my horrible creation.
